The virgin wood for our biomass woodchip comes from forest residues such as small round wood (SRW), branches, tree thinnings and poorly formed wood. High quality timber continues to be shipped to the mainland sawmills to produce construction materials. Our raw timber which has been stacked and seasoned for a year is then processed into wood chip using our powerful chipping machine. We deliver woodchip on a daily basis around the Island.
